You need to be generous and hospitable, if you are having a guest overnight. This does not mean that you must exaggerate while providing your guests with food and drink. Moderation without too much excess is regarded as Sunnah. You must try your level best to make your guests comfortable and pleasant during the state of asleep and awake. Do inform your guests about the direction of Qiblah and also show them way to place for wudhu and bathroom.

Make sure that the Towel you are offering to your guests for washing hands, shower or wudhu is clean. Do not give them towels that you or your family members have used. It is better to offer your guests the mirror and perfume. If you learn Quran, you will get to know more about the duties and rights of guest and host. Also make sure that the bathroom accessories and toiletries should be sanitized and clean. Check and Inspect the bathroom and remove anything that you feel your guest will not like. Your guest might need a quite sleep and rest. Keep them away from the noise of house and children as much as possible.

Remove belongings and female clothing from their view. This is a very desirable practice and it will leave both of you feeling comfortable. While meeting your guests, do serve them with respect and tact. Try to dress properly and look your best and do not overdo it. It is better that when you visit a relative or friend, you must keep in mind the circumstances and work of hosts. Usage And Meaning Of Term”Salaf” And Its Usage In Sunnah And The Holy Quran

Later on the messenger said: “Indeed JIbreel used to listen to my recitation of the Quran once a year, and he has now done so twice, and I do not see except that my appointed time is so close, so fear Allah and be patient for indeed I am blessed ‘salaf’ for you.”

In another place speaking about heavens and earth, it is said:
“Have not those who disbelieved known that the heavens and the earth were one connected entity, then We separated them?  (Quran, 21:30)
Explaining about the clouds and rain, it is said:
“Or (the unbelievers’ state) is like the darkness in a deep sea.  It is covered by waves, above which are waves, above which are clouds.  Darknesses, one above another.  If a man stretches out his hand, he cannot see it.”  (Quran, 24:40)

Significance Of Mahr In The Religion Islam

Mahr is the money or equivalent that is paid by husband to his wife. There is a belief about mahr, that it is dowry, however it is not. A dowry is something that wife contributes to her marriage, on the other hand mahr is the obligation on husband for paying to his wife. Some say that Mahr is a gift that is given by husband, but it is not a gift, instead it is an obligation that is provided by Holy Quran.

Mahr is the obligation that is required by the law of Islam from husband for paying to his wife. It should be stipulated in the contract of Islamic marriage. There are various Hadiths that say the Prophet Muhammad(P.B.U.H) has described about the obligatory nature of mahr in the Islamic marriage contracts. Initially, there are two types of mahr, one of them is known as muqaddam, that must be paid just after signing the contract, and the other one is known as muakhar, which needs to be paid in death or divorce.
