Islam is a religion of peace, well being, and prosperity. Imaan is an Arabic word that tells about adherence to any idea. It represents inner aspect of religion in the Islamic theology. It also tells about the faith of believer in the realities of Islam. There is a great debate that exists between the faith and reason in the religion Islam. It also pays special importance on each and every one of them.

1.      It is important to learn and to read the Holy Quran as it increases the Imaan of a person. Recite the Holy Quran with its translation so that you can understand its teachings. Keep on reminding yourself that Allah is there for you and also speaks to you.

2.     Remember that Allah Almighty is great and he controls everything present in this Universe. There are various signs in this Universe which talk about his greatness. Everything in this world happens with his permission. Everything in this world follows the direction of Allah, even black ant on the black rock.

3.   A person should make efforts in gaining knowledge because Taqwa is associated with knowledge.

4.    There are lots of events that are surrounded by Angels, so try to get into gatherings where Allah is remembered.

5.      You must increase the good deeds. One good deed can lead to the other one. Allah blesses the person who gives charity; therefore, all the good deeds must be done in a continuous way, rather than occasionally. Enhancing your Imaan is very important as it is the only way by which you can get close to Allah.

The biggest reality of life is death and the struggle in the life is about acquiring good deeds so that we can attain higher status in life hereafter. As it is said in the Holy Quran:

“Wealth and children are adornment of the worldly life. But the enduring good deeds are better to your Lords for reward and better for hope.”

Holy Quran in Surah Raad has pointed out that there are signs for those who believe in the meeting with their Lord. From all these signs, we get to understand that there will be a world after this. If God can create earth, heavens, mountains, and rivers then why can he not be able to raise us after we are dead.

There is much wisdom behind the creation of Universe, as each object in the Universe is in such an impeccable order. So it is hard to believe that how can a person who commits murder be treated in the same way or manner as the one who is needy and poor.

Therefore, for this reason, it is said in Surah Rahman, “ Is the reward for good anything but good?” Then it is said for the Day of Judgment. “Respond to your Lord before a Day comes from Allah of which there is no spelling. No refuge will you have that day, nor for you will there be any denial.”

From the above verses, it is clear that the main purpose of life is to prepare yourself for the Day of Judgment. For those who have committed sins more than the good deeds, this day in the Holy Quran is described as full of anguish and distress.
